Reset. Restore. Rebalance.
You are watching a movie where the main character is awake at 3AM analyzing a conversation that took place 12 hours ago. They wanted to make a good first impression but said something stupid and now they are racking their brain trying to figure out if they blew their chances. The more they think, the worse the scenarios get as they flood their brain; and they wish they could just turn their brain off and sleep. They toss and turn for the rest of the night and lie in anticipation of their alarm going off.
Another day starts where they have to force themselves out of bed with bloodshot eyes and a racing heart. They go through the day on autopilot, ready to crash as soon as they get home.
They are constantly in their own head and miss out on living in the present moment. Doom scrolling only adds to the anxiety and if they try to breathe it feels like a huge rock sitting on their chest.
You realize it’s you and it's finally time to do something about it.
It’s time to put your oxygen mask on first.
Breathe.
You’re in the right place.
Anxiety doesn’t have to hold you back anymore
Everyone else seems to have it together
You may feel that everyone else has it together while you struggle just to get through each day.
Anxiety can trickle down and effect different parts of your life.
You may feel it when your boss criticizes your work, or when you and your partner have a disagreement. It may feel isolating to experience panic in everyday situations and feel out of control of your feelings. And these feelings may linger for longer than you would like, eating away at any peace and calm you have left inside. It may feel like if one thing goes wrong, everything else seems to fall apart and you are expected to pick up the pieces without any idea of how things got this way to begin with.
On the outside you may look chill and calm but inside doesn’t match that experience. Racing thoughts, a pounding heart and feeling on edge keep you from being your best self. You are tired of not being able to show up as your best self. You are ready to commit to exploring the roots of your anxiety and lifting yourself up from carrying so much for far too long.
You deserve more
You want to heal from the inside out. You deserve to. You want to sleep through the night and wake up feeling refreshed. You want to enjoy your partner and your kids without feeling like they are draining your energy reserves. You want to speak up without feeling afraid. You want to feel appreciated for your contributions and not be taken advantage of. You want to fully embrace everything that life has to offer and do it with poise, grace and confidence.
What if your thoughts, your fears, your anxieties didn’t hold you back from pursuing what you wanted to live more fully? What if you had the power to lift the constraints of “what ifs” and “I shouldn'ts” and embrace change, trust the process and come out strong and secure in yourself?
I specialize in helping anxious individuals get out of their own way and live life in alignment with their natural gifts, values and authenticity.
Together we will address what is weighing you down and how your body is reacting to it. My approach focuses on integrating the mind, body and spirit to get a bigger picture of what living with anxiety really feels like for you. We will look into what self care means and looks like for you. After taking an inventory of how anxiety is showing up in your life, we will dive deeper to its origins.
I utilize a psychodynamic approach that gets to the root cause of why individuals live out of sync with themselves. Through careful exploration of the historical effects anxiety has had on you and your family, we will get a more clear idea of how it may have been passed down through generations. By joining in on discovering the origins of your anxiety, we will be better equipped to use your new self awareness to collaborate on solutions that best align with your needs.
